Well now that we are all talking about relative cops and all, my GF's cousin is State trooper, score for me

 

I rev at them as I pass... havent got pulled yet.

 

I windup the blower...

 

I've never had a cop wave at me. Most of them are mean, grumpy, or power hungry in my town. Where I go to school though, I got pulled over because I forgot to turn my lights completely on after leaving the gas station in town. Seriously one of the nicest cops I've ever met.

There seems to be a big difference from my experiences with IL and WI cops, not that I have too much anyways.

 

I always acknowlege cops, especially sheriff's. Even passing them down the road I wave. My home has been burglarized three times, my office multiple and these are the guys I call when I have these problems. So yeah, I'm "nice to them". Even when pulled over I use the "Yes sir, no sir". Get's you less trouble than "Don't you have anything better to do". But that's not to say I'm one that doesn't break any traffic laws, like speed limits, excessive show of acceleration.....I just don't do it around cops

 

If they acknowledge me I usually give them the four finger wave. The cops around here are pretty cool. They are usually on the look out for meth addicts/dealers so they usually give the regular public a break.

 

With the same dignity and respect I show everyone else.
Badge or no badge, it never hurts to be a decent human being to your fellow man.
