I would go with the supercharger. Great conversation piece, it's always there, sounds great. Cams sound awesome at idle, but that's about it. I mean, there is a power increase but it's not something comparable to FI at all.

I have both but power wise deff Supercharge before cams. Much more fun. If you can do both it's a hell of a package

Supercharger before cams that way when you do eventually get cams they can be supercharger specfic.

This is not in any way against a Saleen, but if you're trying to stay a bit lower in HP, and at the same time remain everyday drivable, it seems that a Roush M90 might be a good choice. This would also save you about $1000+ and you could still comfortably do cams and exhaust HP wise. That would get you the best of all worlds! Just an idea.

But in answer to the poll, if only one or the other, S/C.

17-0...i see a pattern developing
The only reason I favor the saleen is the fact that I already have the intake needed and brenspeed is a saleen speed lab.
Funny how they started stocking roush s/c'ers but do not offer the m90.
I would ultimatley think that the saleen would require less boost for the numbers I would like to see, that's why I favor it. Could be wrong there, idk.

I went with the Supercharger option and have no regrets. I drive my car all year long, it shares daily driver duty with my Focus. Gas mileage would be about the same before I SC'ed it if I could keep my foot out of it.

Saleen produces excellent numbers w low boost.. It is a very efficient supercharger albeit doesn't appear like a supercharger under the hood... I prefer the Saleen myself but the whipple is pretty awesome too..

I will warn you. If you go Roush don't do the M90. It has decent power for an S/C but it has some serious supercharger whine. At times my car from the front doesnt sound like a Mustang at all. Depends on if you like that or not. It depends cause I've gotten used ot it. But youll have a lot of ppl going: "wtf, that doesnt sound like how a Mustang should"... I get that A LOT. My friend has the Roush that is tunable to 750 hp. Can't find the specific Roush name for it at.... But he has it in his Shelby GT tuned to 450rwhp cause his block is stock... but anyway he has that one and it does not whine at all. Had my M90 not come on mine when I got it, I deff would have done the one he has.
