Ford Power Packs

If it IS the power pack that wayne613 linked to that you're talking about, they do nothing for fuel mileage. You get:
Sorry, I lapse into sarcasm when I see people believe the false advertising that companies are allowed to spew.
- The FRPP CAI (nice) with the FRPP tune (lame) - minor power gain compared to the same thing from Brenspeed or Bama and as we all know, no fuel mileage improvement. Matter of fact, you'll lose fuel mileage in some cases by not keeping your foot out of the new found power.
- One of the FRPP axlebacks - no performance gain and no fuel mileage gain; only a deeper exhaust note
- FRPP oil filter - you gotta be chittin' me. Unless you expect to burst a filter at the track, there's no need for the FRPP filter. It doesn't do squat for anything other than to have a higher burst rating.
Sorry, I lapse into sarcasm when I see people believe the false advertising that companies are allowed to spew.

I agree, it would be great to have a shop that knew enough to put all the power, transmission, exhaust, suspension, chassis bracing, breaking, wheels/tires together in a logical package that since it was paid for including labor, would work in harmony and not create problems or be disappointing or degrade the enjoyment of the car. I am speaking of Muscle Car Heaven of course. Erik
