Default Catback install

My catback will be here Wednesday for my 5.0. My questions:

How hard is it to install on ramps, can I make it after work around 7PM? How long did it take you guys to install?
Is a lift a must have to get the pipes over the axle or will I make it sitting normal?

thanks, just excited to install it!

I cant imagine the 2012 exhaust is that much different from previous years. I was able to get my over axle pipes off with the car on jack stands. What did you order that connects from the cats back? New midpipe?

Mac comp catback from a member here...

So, do you think the axle needs to be dropped to get it off?

Drop the axle? Hell no. You just need some height. Try it with 4 large jackstands. Not the small ones, big *** truck sized ones. My buddy swapped his 84 vette tranny using built up wood blocks to get it high enough in the air.

lol not literally dropping the axle..... Meaning raising body and let wheels drop as if on a lift. I have a set of full car ramps...with all weight on tires, will my axle be too low to remove the tubes over the axle...Making sense? My ramps will have the car about 2' off the ground oil changes are a breeze!
