Default Sound Good?

Would a 2011 3.7L sound good with just striaght pipes?

I want to do something with my exhaust to make it louder but all the axlebacks are like 400$ or more and i dont really want to spend that much any ideas?

what are the best axlebacks anyways?

There is no "best axle back" per say. Its all personal preference on loudness, tone, price, ect... I would recommend searching Google or YouTube for videos of different exhaust on your particular year/motor.

Well by best im taking it by clarity of sound and by quality of build. Corsa and Borla are arguably the best in that respect. Owning Corsas I may be biased but find them the best. It definitely is a "You get what you pay for" type of deal. Pay 200 youll have some pretty good drone and bad clarity as well as cheaper build. Pay 800 for example itll be built to last, be clear, and sound mean without all the drone. It depends too osme ppl go in the 400 range and compromise. Listen around to different exhausts. Typically youll only be making it louder if you chop the mufflers but wont help in sound clarity or drone reduction. Youtube like a mad man.

I gotta agree on the Corsa's. I just picked up a barely used set of Xtremes, and you don't even hear them on the freeway, except when i get on it, i think they might even be quieter, in a good way, then the stock mufflers. I am stock except the axlebacks as far as exhaust, the only time you hear Them is on a cold start up or WOT, and it is a nice refined sound. I got them at a great price and couldn't be happier. Some guys like drone, but I don't, and the 304 stainless steel for the entire muffler is second to none.
