Sct iTSX wireless tuner
Has anyone bought this and used it to monitor different parameters of your car. It looks like it would be cool to use but I couldn't find any reviews on the net. The only reviews were just people talking about there tunes that they got with the purchase of the wireless tool.
Thx

JCON just bought one..give him about an hour after he gets it in a couple days I'm sure...Ok, 2 hours.
I am as curious about it as you, I'm assuming it's not reading anything more CAN-bus related that the usual ELM327 based readers couldn't see with Dashcommand or the like, nor is it seeing or doing anything their other dash monitoring ones do, aside from being able to get everything from your Iphone or Ipad via bluetooth. Which is nice not to be stuck wired in of course.
I'm wondering if you have to "fill in the blanks" so to speak like I have to. Giving final gear ratios, curb weight, etc, in order to get the estimated HP, TQ, and such numbers.

I was looking at gauges for measuring boost and came across this at AM...looked pretty cool.

For AFR, it needs this:

I may just get the extra sensor that hooks up via usb to display on the carpc. Just wouldn't be where I could see it all the time....So, probably still go the aeroforce method, just not sure if that route or oldschool analog, won't be as cool, but it'll be cheaper.
Fairly accurate guestimates I'd wager, but the only real difference is that it's bluetooth for the i-stuff. All of the cool things such as AFR, HP, TQ, etc, are all guesstimates using the other car data as the backstop. Still useful for seeing if say a certain tune helps or hurts, etc, but you're not actually getting a true reading.
I'd hope they're in the works for a droid app for it as well. Surprising to me that they don't already have it since it's just a bluetooth dongle interface essentially for whatever interface chip they use to read ODB-II and CAN-BUS.
For like what, $80 more than the X3, to be wireless, and show that data, both guesstimated and otherwise on a bluetooth device with the app, as well as be able to datalog to it, and flash canned as well as custom SCT tunes? Yeah, I'd spend the extra money on it if I were in the market again for a tuner. In a heartbeat.
