i recently bought a 2005 mustang gt it has around 54k miles on it i recently changed the front brake pads to hawk performace ceramic brakes because i felt lie the stock ones were to weak its been around a week and half of driving on the new pads but the brakes still feel very weak and when i apply pressure to my brakes i can feel it shaking on my foot anyone else have this problem or know what might be wrong

warped rotors? low on brake fluid or possible bubble in brake lines?

 

Assume you bedded them in properly?

 

Did you have the rotor's turned? Did you bed in the new pads per Hawk instructions? Could you have glazed the rotor over using the new pads? You can try and clean the surface of the rotor with some fine emory paper, and scuff up the new pads and try bedding the pads in again. Try bleeding the brakes.
