Default 0n3 turbo kit questions any good???

i was considering in getting a on3 turbo kit but just curious as to if its gunna cost me the same just to supercharge my car. i need a bap and injectors and a sct tuner for the turbo kit i know the tuner is 380 not sure on the prices on the other parts but is the turbo kit worth it and can i leave my engine alone. and what about a boost controller it doesnt say in the ad for it that it has one.

Might want to search around various forums for feedback on the On3 turbo kit. I have yet to hear a good thing about that setup. Check out ModdedMustangs.com and S197forum.com

Edit: I've heard primarily complaints about the company itself.

dont go with the on3 if you want a good turbo for cheap, go with s&H, much better product, everything included in the kit for 3500, so just a lil more than the on3 and you still have to buy the injectors and also the maf fuel pumps, this kit comes with everything plus a much better turbo

mmm yeah a used one, there kits include everything but spark plugs, and its only 3500, its a much much better turbo than the on3 turbo, they actually use the on3 plumbing but add there one upgraded turbo and also the fuel pumps, for 1500 more your getting a much better deal than the on3, they also have warrentys, jeremy is a great guy to work with and is a vender on that forum. there are several guys running his turbo kits making well into the 700+hp with a built block. but if you dont want to go built, then i would stay away from a turbo all together, harder to tune espically yourself, but hey maybe you are good at that, i would chance a making my own tune, there are several people that can do the email remote tune to get ou running

he is kinda right about this, several people have complained about the customer service and the turbos they include tearing up, but there plumbing kits are supposed to be really good, i have done a lot of research on this, which is why if i was to go turbo it would be with s&h

yea i gotcha ill have to do some more reasearch thanks for all the info i dont wanna build my car to crazy just looking for some low boost to get me like 400 to 430hp reallly. i just dont wanna throw a cheap kit on and mess it up to try to save a few bucks so i deff wanted to hear some opinions on it. would i be better going suercharged then or would the s&h kit deff be something to look into and i could just have a custom tune made couldnt i ??

yeah most supercharger KITS come with a tune already, the s&h kit is cheap but its good parts, you can get a non intercooled vortech for a lil more and it should come with a tune, if you already have a tuner there are several people who can email you a tune for anything you get, but if you go the turbo route, they need to have that on the dyno to make sure its 100% safe, it will also make over 400, so it might not be what your looking for. id say the non intercooled vortech kit would be a good choice for you
