You are correct I was running 12.5's and one 12.4 at the track last year. I added the torque convertor and smaller pulley and bigger injectors. Im running 9.5 psi. So yea i was impressed with the times. I still need some driver work thats for sure.

But Im happy with my ride for now and its fun. Maybe with a bit more work I can get a new PB.

No problem. I thought the 11.4x was yours too. That's what I get for reading too fast. The first time I broke into 11s, I yelled so loud I thought I burst my ear drums (still had my helmet on). My best run to date is 11.39, so now I'm chasing 10s, lol.

 

I have a friend who has built up a new edge.
Last season he took it to the track which is an 8th and he hit a great 8 second number. I think I almost jumped more than he did seeing how happy he was. He has done an AMAZING job on his vehicle and did it ENTIRELY himself.

Very gifted person.

 

I didnt realize you upgraded the boost and injectors, very nice. Your car is awesome just the way it is now. Much faster and you gotta start thinking cage and frankly that changes a street car IMO.

I am on the fence with a new TC.....part of me says hell yes go fast but logic tells me it will ruin my sportsman fun. Congrats again, 11 second street car is something to be proud of.

 

chasing 10s now that would be awesome. upgraded tranny and a built motor along a few other things should do the trick. I have fight within myself about a built motor going on right now. 11.39 is a sick time man.

 

I dont want a car that has a cage in it. I have been on the fence about getting the motor built just for uping the power a little bit more and for peace of mind but im also confident in my car as is.

The TC is fun to drive but like u said if you want to continue running the sportsman class u might not want to.
