Didn't think so. Parts and labor for the entire top replacement ran ~$1600

At the risk of having it happen again, you could park your car there and be ready with a camera. Catch 'em in the act, and have 'em arrested.

Sorry to see that OP. Good that you got things resolved, but deductibles are always a ****ty deal.

Wayne said it best, some scum are just so upset at what they cannot attain that they take it out on those better off than them... Jealousy is an ugly thing.

I posted earlier about my car getting keyed at my school. Those people are such low lives! Question though: if you file with the insurance over vandalism, can your rates go up?

I feel for you. I have had 5 Stangs, and at some point most of them have been vandalized to some degree or another.

That's bullsh!t. Sorry to hear man.

I live in a crowded townhome community and about 500 yards from a bar so I'm paranoid pretty much everyday about something like this happening.

(plus neighbors are assh0les)

Gotta get a garage.

They can, insurance will quote something about storing the vehicle in an unsafe area and they might hike your rates.

They tried to do it to me when I had my mirrors smashed at my apartment complex but I was able to have them nullify the increase by giving them proof that I moved storage from a portico to a garage... Highway robbery, man.

This makes me so sick. your friend said that a group of punk ricers hang out where the damage happened? If this happened on a friday or saturday when most id assume you could find this group hanging out there.... well i wouldn't need any more proof for me to serve out retribution.
