Default Stripes etc

I want to get some stripes painted on my Satin Silver GT but wanted to see pics of others
first. If you've got stripes post em. Not sure what style stripe or Color, though black
seems the obvious choice for Silver.

Here's a pic of mine atm.

Nice ride! Although I would agree with you that black is the obvious choice, it certainly is not the only choice. Hows about white?

I actually have your color too and was planning on striping mine. I was going to settle on black, but then when the 2006 color scheme came out, I was thinking of using the Tungsten Grey as a color on the satin silver.
Did anyone try that out yet or have any opinions about it? You may want to try it out (and be my guinea pig).

Grey might be good, though i was thinking of getting some blue stripes. I saw a picture of a windviel blue with
silver stripes that looked good.

This is a member on the board I really like what he did and the color combination its different and the car looks very nice. I altered the color of the car to get it closer to yours and blacked out his plate hope he doesn't mind. You could work with this strip to your taste but I like it .

Maybe just the hood
Maybe a little less as wide to your taste etc etc.

Ebein I have the SAME exact problem as you!!!

I couldn't figure out what color stripes to put on my car. (i still haven't gotten them)
I'm now waiting on picking out the perfect hood (topic for another thread)

I made some modifications in photoshop to see the width and color of stripes i would like.
You should view them here:

After all that thinking, back and fourth... Blue? White? Black?
I finally decided I'm going to get a darker metallic gray (not shown in those pictures).

That is 05SatinSilvers ride. I still think "GM" every time I see it, as the grey/black/red looks like the shop shirts they all wear, but I agree, it does look sharp! People see mine and think "Candy Cane", and I tell all the ladies I can take them to the Candy Shop.

I was thinking about putting some silver or blue ghost stripes. Or maybe a custom stripe where its light silver on the outside of the stripe and turns to blue towards the middle
