ORIGINAL: TJ

This is a member on the board I really like what he did and the color combination its different and the car looks very nice. I altered the color of the car to get it closer to yours and blacked out his plate hope he doesn't mind. You could work with this strip to your taste but I like it .

Maybe just the hood
Maybe a little less as wide to your taste etc etc.

Looks good

thanx., i plan to do this on mine so it will kinda match the hood on my 70 Cobra. i like the blackout as being more nostalgic than the racing stripes are. i painted my spoiler matte black this week on my satin silver convert body. really looks old school.

I have the tuscan grey and thinking of silver stripes on it. I think it will be a little less bold. If you have a pic please let me see it. Also what are you guys paying to have them put on?

Picure's a lilttle fuzy, but if your car is white then go with either the saleen or traditional shelby blue stripes. If silver, go with black. You might also want to go check your local paint shop to see what type of designs and pics they have.

I like the satin silver with blue stripes. maybe windveil blue better than the dark blue. Remember that if you want wide stripes they will HAVE to be painted and it will cost mucho $$$. Vinyl stripes are much cheaper but I read that they won't handle the curving onf the hood very well.

I kicked around other colors, but the black just looked too good in my opinion. I get many comments on my stripes. The car really screams for them.
