Question Finally found a nice GT but need advice....

Found a white/gold striped 2006 Mustang GT with a Saleen supercharger, automatic trans. and 17,800 miles for $26,500. Link below to check it out. Lots of good pics. I think if this car checks out as O.K., I will offer $23,000 for it. That sound about right?

He is asking 5.0 prices.

I think it's high.. really high. I bought a 07 - 2 years about for 19,600 certified with 18K miles. The blower is 6K new..

I would shoot for 19-20k, but sure that won't happen.

yea price seems a little high, if you look you can probably find one with a supercharger for about 20k, without around 16-18k.

26.5k is way over imo, 23k could be reasonable...but definitly would check couples more places first. auto tranny too eh..

5.0 Prices? Ehh - maybe. I'd say more dealer price.

The car is done well and looks to be well care for. The 5.0 has depreciated the 4.6 but don't expect to them to give them away. 21-23 would be fair IMO. Good luck!

Especially if Ford screws up the next Mustang. The 05-13's will be a 10 year stretch that will go down in history as one of Ford's best cars.

AGREE! The S197 (well, '05-'12) has been done right!

He wants way too much. Personally I am not feeling that gold stripe.

I think it's high. 6th pic from bottom, a shot of the rear tire, is that over spray in the inner wheel well?
