Best option by a distance as great as the state you live in.

I'd go with the Eleanor style louvers. Whatever you go with will look great! Good luck!

Those aren't "Elleanor" style - they're "Shelby" style. 1967-68 Shelby's had quarter-window scoops similar to those. There are several variants of those available as well.

And in the interest of completeness, you have two other options regarding quarter-window treatment:

- Scott Drake makes a cover with faux rivets to cover the glass (available in black and brushed aluminum, and they make interior panels to cover the quarter window holes) - http://www.drakeautomotivegroup.com/...R3Z-29796/7-BK

- You could lay some (body color) vinyl over the glass.

What do the factory louvers look like?
I'm more of a simple look type guy... So the louver that have like 6 slices is a little much for me!

I'm kind of leaning toward the Eleanor but I want to try to be persuaded to get a different type

Also to the people who already have louvers... Is the back painted so when youhave people in the back seat they don't see an ugly grey?

The only time I've had someone in my back seat was me and the wife, and we weren't lookin' out the windows (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).

BearKats15,

I don't think you could go wrong! This would really put the cosmetics of your Stang to the next level! Since your car is black, personally I may lean towards the quarter window louvers to break it up a bit. The Eleanor louvers being solid may be "too much black". Again, this is just my personal opinion.

I hope this makes your decision a little bit easier. If you need further assistance please feel free to hit us up!

Our Mustang Experts are here Monday-Friday from 9AM-9PM EST and Saturdays from 9AM-5:30PM EST. If you want to hit them up, their number is 866.727.1266. I can also have one of them call you directly.
