Oh no!
That sucks. If its just the fender and bumper with no structural damage I wouldn't think it would be totaled. Hopefully, she'll be back on her feet in no time.

Sorry to hear that man. Are you alright?

Post up the pictures when you can. I hope it's not totaled. My parents have an '07 vert and has been in two accidents. Both were around $10,000-11,000 and they didn't total it.

It's probably not the time to think about something like this, but if the front bumper is destroyed, maybe you can try to upgrade the bumper for cheaper?

do you mean front fender or rear quarter? front fender and bumper shouldnt cost more than $1000 to fix and paint. rear quarter will cost a considerable amount more.

nassau or suffolk? I used JVC auto in hicksville to fix substantial hail damage last year on my truck and they did a great job. Scappy's in Westbury is also good too.

No way they will total that. its a relatively easy fix too. Drill a few holes pull it out as close to shape as possible and add a little body filler to smooth it out. Probably dont need a bumper even.

They should follow the repair guidelines as per the Ford shop manual. It involves replacing the entire outer skin of the quarter. Had it done to mine by an excellent shop here in Cincy and you could never tell anything ever happened.

Make them replace the panels, not pull and fill.

Ouch man.

I can't tell from the pic but it sorta looks like the bumper just took a boatload of paint transfer. I bet they could take that off, sand it down and repaint it with no need to replace. THe quarter panel not so much, it needs replaced. The drilling holes thing is a no. If someone at a body shop even suggested it we would be having one big pissing match! Actually, I'd leave.
