hmm interesting. I find the normal keys boring. I bought some Mustang covers that go over them and really blend in so well they look like regular keys. Price isnt bad either, but Im assuming you'd have to get the key done at a Ford Dealer or some sort. When I interned at a dealer I remember they were not cheap.

It only needs to be a similar transponder unit used. If you have 2 programmed keys already(and still have at least 2), you can program any new ones that have a compatible transponder yourself, such as that ebay bought one..

Hmm okay. I may have to think about this. Pretty cool. How do you like it so far?

Very easy to program as long as you have 2 keys already programmed. I just did it myself this afternoon, it only took less than 5 minutes and now when the key is in my pocket it's not poking me.

So far so good, the only negative is its about a 1/4 inch longer than the original key, just a small pet peeve of mine but not a deal killer, it just doesn't sit flush with the wheel cylinder so you just have to be mindful when you turn the key, because my fear is if you turn the key hard you might break it off. Although I'm sure I'm just being paranoid.
