Well V has returned and all I can say is...

http://youtu.be/arZdeg_fL-I

Thanks to Chandler and the guys at Brenspeed for a job well done!
She runs like a champ...Increased HP throughout the curve from the instant you push the throttle. No more mushy feeling until 3k and up top....rocketship!
What can I say about the cams that you have not already heard?
Awesome sound...Awesome power...Awesome driveability!
Gets you guys some pics/video maybe tonight after dinner and cocktails.

Dude, couldnt tell you other than the butt dyno. Increase is accross the entire curve. This is a DD setup and does not focus on max peak HP.

Impressions as I drove tonight...

MORE instant power available!
All i hear about it how you loose low rpm torque with a cam, well not with this setup (good call son of 68). Might be the shorties producing more torque to counter the loss from the cams, but butt dyno reads INCREASE low rpm torque/hp...best guess 10-25lbs between 1.5K and 3.5k.
Up top (4K plus) pulls much stronger and a new limiter set at 6350rpm never hurt. It does flatten out in hp increases as expected (shorty vs l/t) @ about 5K rpm...this is were the long-tube is king, but I doubt you would feel the torque increases the shorties provide in the low to mid-range portions of the curve. To me this is a give and take thing, and you have to pick your poison so to speak. DD's need and want instant power and torque...advantage shorty imo.
Sound...well I got a thumps up as we left dinner tonight and she does rumble now let me tell ya.
LOVE MY SHORTIES MAN!!!lol
with the stock midpipe and violators, it has a nice sound and shake, but can (and will) be improved

Very happy with the setup
Special thanks to JD, Son of 68 and my man D for the feedback...pics and video will have to wait till I get back.
Next stop Columbus Oh for some Skyline Chili for lunch tomorrow!
peace.

Thanks Mayo! Glad it worked out like you wanted. It sounded to me like you did your homework and made good choices based on what you use the car for. Can't wait to see the vids! You'll have to see how it sounds after a few days or so. Mine changed a bit over time. However, after talking to JD, I also dropped my idle a little. If you do that, it might idle strange for a few days, don't be alarmed, it will mellow out and be fine.
