Default Would anyone hear know how to remove center console accessory outlet? ?????

I'm trying to wire leds to the center console accessory outlet in an 07 mustang but not sure how to take it out. Any help?

Wrong section, I'll move it for you. This is specific to the 3.7L V6 section and 2011+

Im trying to wire led lights to the center console outlet in a 07mustang. I'm not sure if it pulls out or if i have to remove stuff to access wires.

Two screws in the back corner under the lid.. take them out and pop the whole center console out. You will need to remove the ring around the shifter and the two "strips" running up each side of your das outside your radio first.

Takes less than 2 minutes to pop everything off to get access. Once off though, I guess it just depends on what you are doing and how involved you get. I will be interested to see the finished product. I do like looking at Mustang ****..lol Especially things I haven't seen done.

The two by radio do they just pull off or you gotta do it a certai way without breaking tabs or anything?

nah just yank them off of there. Worst case the metal tab covers will fly off and you just grab them and stick them back in the slot. I remember ripping apart a car my first time. I was so nervous I would break something. At this point I just grab and pull like its 2nd nature.
