Default whipple help!!

i have the 07 whipple h.o. 550 and it just started to throw the wrench code a couple weeks ago. it comes on only after 5 minutes after start up. it goes into limp home mode. so i have to pull over and shut the car off and then restart and all is fine. i went in with my sct and no dtc's were found. it also seems like the wideband is rich, then lean, then rich and then lean. can someone please steer me in the right direction as what to start to look for. it has given a code p2135 which is throttle body position sensor switch a/b before also. should i maybe reload the dyno tune? also can i go back to the whipple procal tune and see if it does the same thing? i have added headers so i guess as long as i baby the car it should be ok to drive.

Did you solder the sensor extensions or butt connectors? I would solder all the wires if you didn't. It sounds like a bad sensor connection.

all the wires were soldered and then shrink wrapped.

With no cats it will probably be a little lean at WOT. just don't give it full throttle and you will be fine. How long have you had the dyno tune? How long has the whipple been on?

If your connections are good to your TPS and it's plugged all the way in, then I would probably replace it. P2135 seems to result in a tps replacement fixing the problem.

the dyno tune was with the cats. but it's been like that for over a year and had no issues. just recently getting the wrench lite. the whipple has been on for 3 years. i have gotten the p2135 before and just cleared it. i am going to replace it and see how that works!! thanks moosestang
