scared to buy a new 5.0

I was considering the camaro for a while. It drives nice around town and the clutch is much more forgiving then the GT but I couldn't get over how terrible visibility was from the drivers seat. Fenders that extend off into the sunset and a windshield that was more like a tank gunners viewport.
If I hadn't bought the GT I'd still be interested in the '13 camaro SS that supposedly you can get the ZL1 suspension on. ANd nav. <3 nav.

I've never owned a Mustang before, had 2 LS1 Trans Am's and a Z28. I don't have any complaints. It was between the Camaro and Mustang, and the Camaro just has a huge blind spot it seems like. I'm not a fan of the IRS either, a buddy has broken axles a few times. I halfway liked the Camaro styling, but when I saw the new '13s I knew right then which one I was picking.

I've never ever been a mustang fan, not sure why. Well that all changed a month ago, i got married and at the time had plans of buying an ls2 gto. well my buddy in my wedding had a 12' 5.0 and let me take it out and like that! .... mind instantly changed, did a complete 180, bought a 13' 5.0 and LOVE IT. never looked back. I wouldn't worry about any issues as it's covered by warranty, i can't say that i'd advise spending that kind of money and putting a tune on it as soon as you get it....

OP - I wouldnt worry about what you see here on the boards. For the most poart, all of us are enthusiasts who either get nervous at the first bump in the night or make the decision to not worry about every little sound.
Think of it this way...you freak out at night when you hear your house settling at night after being hot all day? Probably not. Once you get a stang, you'll never look back.
