Your gonna get a lead foot I promise, you dont sound much like a motorhead yet because you havent had a fast car, but I can tell you its coming and once the disease bites your screwed lol.

They will last forever if you take care of them. There is a thread around here with the people who have the most miles and most trouble free miles. I sure someone on here as it bookmarked.

You wont regret getting the car at all, except for maybe that automatic part.

I honestly havent pushed my car alot in the couple months ive owned it, i like to treat her right and take of her. Cars can easily push 100k miles if not alot, alot more if proper oil changes, tune-ups, etc

Look in the Ride of the month section for July. I have pics of my 07 and another guy has pics of his 93 foxbody. With proper care, you will see they can last forever.

I have a 2010 GT convertible and love it, no complaints. Bought it new and I haven't had a single problem with it, guess the kinks were all worked out through the previous model yers for the engine and transmission. Gas mileage isn't great, but then i wouldnt have bought a pony if that ws my concern.

I love my '10 GT. all the power I need for living in a metro area.

the only thing that bothers me about the car you are looking at is that $20k seems high for a car with 50k on the clock. it would seem to me that you would find a better deal on a car with lower miles if you just looked for a private owner.

This... and for a few thousand more you should be able to find a base 2011 GT, if you are patient and look around. You may not care for power (then why buy a mustang GT?) but the 5.0 that came out in 2011 has 412 hp versus the 315hp in the 2010.. huge difference. I'd also have to have a manual

true on that auto part. My first mustang was an auto v6... No comparison to the manual GT.

If you can find a 12 v6 manual you should be able to get it for cheap....that's what I did made more sense then buying a older GT with X amount of miles and abuse. Just my .02 got mine for 20k out the door.

50K on a 2010 is too many miles! You could find a 2006 with that many miles and probably a lot cheaper. Just my opinion. Good luck.

That's also another option. But just remember that even though the new 3.7L has the same 300hp number as the older 4.6L v8, it has 40 less ft-lbs torque, and the v8 has more power through the entire curve. But it is probably getting more difficult to find a clean 2005-2009 with low miles.
