Smile Should i buy a mustang?

Hello all!
thank you for viewing my thread!

now my question is obviously, should i buy a mustang?
we're looking for a fun sporty car, but also something practical.

i've got family with mustangs and i'm very well acquainted with them but is this a great every day car?
all input will be greatly appreciated!!!!

Noah

Diabolical, when is a mustang NOT the right answer?

ahem..

Hello!

Mustangs are perfect cars for driving every day. I commute about 50 miles a day 4 days a week in mine and it has been a very reliable and fun car. If traffic is easy and I can get a little speed I smile from the point I get into the car till I get out

Are you interested in a v6 or v8? If you're interested in speed at all, just get the v8. To be honest, my idea of the perfect budget daily driver is a 2007-2009 GT with a inexpensive suspension mods.

i have been asked this, i own a mustang and 2 motorcycles.

For practicality, its just as good as any other car.
i have had it for 2 years and ive never had any issues with it.
mpg's are great, interior space is great.
that was something my daughter and wife were worried about. obviously you dont see any four door mustangs riding around.. when i bought it my wife immediately wanted me to take it back, her beef was that there wouldn't be enough room for our at that time 12 year old year old daughter. this being our only car, we would need a decent size one at that,
BUT
i had already sat back there while at the dealership and i'm 6,1.
i told her that and even let her sit there herself, problem solved.
now she absolutely loves it.

my only beef is that now my daughter has her permit and wants one for herself. i might just let her have this one and get myself a boss

What kinda of question is that.

The only bad thing, is there is a lot of haters.

I would say go for the V8 if you want speed and power. If the style is the main goal and you dont mind to catch some crap from ignorant people get the 6er but the 5.0 and the 3.7 both are very fuel friendly and the 4.6 and 4.0 are both proven to last nearly forever at the price of a little more gas and power

If I could do it over again, I'd buy a pterodactyl instead.

Honestly, it all depends on your lifestyle. If you have a long drive to work/school, sit in rush hour traffic or city driving, then you might want to think twice about it.

Is the mustang fun to drive? Yes.
Is it fun to drive in traffic? No.
Is it better than driving a four banger? Yes.
Is it practical? Debatable, especially depending on model year. Sounds like you won't have to worry about winter driving being in Texas. If you need to carry passengers, well, lets just say you pretty much only get 2 seats.
Do I get tired of driving my mustang? Yes
Do I miss driving my mustang? Yes

You're question is too vague. I'm sorry to say, but we don't know anything about you or your habits.

He just wants confirmation that he should buy....he's family members own Stangs, he has access to good reviews, just want us to confirm that he should buy it!

That said, a Mustang is not just a car....it's alive, like an animal, treat it right, or it will bite you in the ***!
