Bump stop
The sub frame/chassis will hit it in the event there's excessive load on the rear of the car.
Look under the car and you will see what I am talking about. Usually if you lower your car it will require smaller bump stop for more body travel.

I do plan on buying lowering springs/shocks/struts. Should I just wait until I buy everything else and put smaller bump stops in all at once? Sounds like that would be the easier thing to do.
I would... They're very simple to install.
Ford calls them "jounce stops" some kits include and some do not.

I appreciate all the help everyone. Going to start saving up for new suspension parts.
I've been thinking about getting Ford Racing N-Springs and Tokico D-Spec's. Thoughts?
Not looking to do an overly aggressive drop. Pretty sure those will be nice together.
