What a cluster.

The car doesn't sound heavily modded, but rather poorly tuned. There are only a handful of good tuners that can tune our cars with aftermarket cams. Yours is not one of them. Find another.tuner that works for a shop that can verify the cams are installed correctly.

Could be as simple as an aftermarket/bigger MAF being used, but not being tuned for . . .

stock throttle body i think, but the master air flow i was talking about, I filmed it on the video, seems like a 80mm, i was going to drop the car to the new tuner tonight, but i couldnt find anyone after work-hour to do a damn compression test making sure everything is ok, worst then that, another problem popped on me, I had a coolant ose that was leaking somehow, retighted it nd putted water in the coolant until I drive to the garage, we fixed it correctly but the coolant was still getting hot somehow, but not the car temperature gauge, not apparent leaking or radiator crack, might be the thermostat will needto be change, didnt take any chance, leaved the car there, tune will be reported to monday no need to rush things to the dyno if the car will overheat with that coolant **** story, geez, light to the end of the tunnel please, take care people. Thanks for all the comments, definitly got a better idea what to check out with the new tuner.

I wonder if the cam timing is off. I know that when they are too far advanced or retarded it can cause excessive heat.

Cam timing is commanded by the VCT and can also be mechanically wrong.

If one cam is installed 180 degrees out, then it will still show good on a compression test. Just keep that in mind.

What, a degree wheel? Fords special wedge tool? It would be very easy to install one cam, spin the motor over once to check clearance and then install the other cam. That would put the other cam 180 degrees opposite because the crank needs to spin twice for every 1 cam revolution.

Tools do not make a mechanic.......get things checked by a known good shop....stop relying on what half baked mechanics say. The car is very fixable....just need someone to start at the basics and make sure all is correct. To many people starting mid stream with only a guess of past work.

Watch the video in this link.

https://mustangforums.com/forum/gt-s...e-problem.html

Is that what you mean when you say the car has no power? His probably turned out to be the stock alternator. it leaks AC current and screws up the signal from the cam sensor. Unplugging the cam sensor cause the computer to fire the plugs on the compression and exhaust strock, so it bypassed his problem.
