Any cons with a glass roof?

I'm looking into getting 2013 GT/CS and want to hear from anyone who has a glass roof.
Have you had any good or bad experiences with it?
Do you like it?
Is it worth $2000 ?
I think the dark color of the glass roof looks good on a white GT/CS.

I have the glass roof on my car, and in my opinion it's def worth the 2k. It makes the cabin feel a lot larger. As far as issues I have not had any as of yet. I agree with as far the white wih black top that would look real good!

Does the glass roof add weight? Or is it lighter? That would be the only con I could think of. Hail might shatter it and it could be expensive to replace...I don't know.

I have owned my car for 3 years with the glass roof. Not a single problem. It doesn't weigh much more then the metal roof anyways. I'd say get it or you will regret it! If the sun is a hindrance to you just close the shade! Some people have experienced the shade stopping on them but it was covered under warranty.

It is like only 20lb's more I believe. Hail can shatter your windshield so that makes no difference. It is a cool option especially if you plan to do black on white theme OP! The glass roof is a attention getter at shows and people always are shocked when I tell them...check out the glass roof!

I thought the glass roof was strong enough to withstand rolling over and not shattering? Meaning I guess it would be stronger than the windshield? 0_o Just something I heard. Definitely very cool! I wish I could've gotten it for sure.

I had the glass roof and only had 2 issues with it. When it was colder out, the shade didnt want to move but I never fixed it under warranty while I had it. Also, the car interior was definitely hotter after it had been in the sun for any length of time.

But it was a very neat option and I wouldnt shy away from it. Also agree with how it makes it feel bigger inside the cabin.

I would think that would be the only issue. I would most def get it though if I were you.. GL!

I agree with everything said! You will regret not getting it as an option. I think the 2k was personally worth it. The glass roof supposedly is suppose to withstand roll overs. I don't want to be the one to find out though.

I've had cars with sun roofs, and after 10 years, I'm past the moon/sun roof thing. I understand the glass option is not a sun roof, but one of the cons was the interior tends to get baked. If the glass roof has UV protection then I guess it would be fine.
