I really dont know to much about exhuast. i have a 2008 mustang GT that i bought with an aftermarket exhuast on it. all i know is the muffler says pypes on it. its a dual exhaust and 1 of the mufflers fell off. any suggestions on a good new exhuast to get. and do i need to get just 2 mufflers or should i get the whole thing?

If you have the pypes mid mufflers, then why not get a new m80 muffler for it. It shouldn't be more than 40-50$. The previous owner probably didn't tighten the clamps enough.

What sounds the best? That is subjective. I hate anything that drones, so that eliminates just about every straight through axle back muffler.

borla aggressive axle-backs sounds amazing and they are supposed to be very similar to the ford racing aggressive ones ( believe they are made by same manufacturer but just have different names on exhaust tips ) I would go with a high-flow catted H pipe and borla axlebacks. There are some other good ones to look at as well.

Brands to check out: Corsa, Borla, Magnaflow, Pypes, Ford Racing, Roush, Mac, JBA, SLP, Bassani and Flowmaster. That's pretty much all your options for axlebacks. Exhaust is personal preference. Check out YouTube and listen to some clips with headphones. That way you can hear the real differences between tones, pitches and decibels.

I like my Roush offroad exhaust, which is made by Magnaflow, I believe.
