Default No cats headers, make ****ty sound?

i really need to figure this out, my car make a great sound when flooring, but man oh man what a terrible ****ty farting session is it when you down shift or drop the gas on high rpm.. it just make tons of burping sound it horrible, I never realised until I was in a my dd mazda following my girl friend driving my mustang, it was ugly, is it normal, or could this be because of my current problem when starting the car having lotta back fire in the exaust like if too much gas was in the injector or something like that..

if it normal, I gotta figure out swapping out thoses long tubes for some with cats

Assuming you don't have a big vacuum leak, then I think it's your tune.

What does the vacuum pressure look like at idle?

Most likely tied into the other issues of the car.....aren't you still working the basic running poorly problems still?

You just need some mid mounted resonators. With cams and longtubes I ended up having to add two sets. Some Pypes m80s and some cherry bombs glass packs.

I noticed the Boss cuts up a lot when the trackey idle kicks in. Thing sounds great until then. Guess it has something to do with the valve overlap. Crazy that it will do it when downshifting or letting off the gas though. Try a different tune.

Car always did that with 3x differrnt tune, wait until I get all my injector n fuel system checked in 2 weeks, then ill definity try the reasonator idea, not feeling the idea of removing headers to buy another kit n reinstall, hello $$$$$. 808, do you run cats-less? Did you inserted your reasonator into your xpipe/h-pipe? I cant imagine how my car would sound with out the stockmuffler, did you lost a lot of sound with them??? Thanks
