What hood "flutter" are you talking about? At high speeds or?

JD - Looks good man. Nice job on the install. That first cut had to spike your blood pressure a bit I'm sure, LOL.

Yes, the hood flutter I speak of is usually at 85+ MPH. High pressure builds under the hood and can only come out around the edges of the hood. The hood flutter is when the front edges of the hood start vibrating, sometimes it looks like it is moving an inch or so up and down. It is generally from the forward leaning grill and front end design of the 05-09 S197.

Thanks. When I drilled the first pilot hole in the hood, I knew I couldn't go back.

looks awesome!! hell of a job. at least you can do mods like these, i don't have enough confidence in myself for stuff like this. if there is anything to be messed up a little too far left or a little too far right, up or down....i'm the guy for the job. But your hood looks pro to me

Thanks for the compliment Seth! I measured the placement of the template at least 20 times before starting.

I love the hood vents on the 2013 GT. I got a look at them last week while at the dealership here.

Very nice..Will need to do this. Seems to be quite popular as a functional mod for others as well since it's relatively cheap.
$85 isnt bad considering they want $400 somthing for the fake POS on my hood

...and a lot better than spending $600+ for an aftermarket hood plus $300+ to prep and paint it.

Does the 2013 hood fit our 2012 model?
