2013 GT cost
MSRP is the same everywhere.
What they sell them for varies from location to location often.
But you can usually find a dealer that will sell at or below MSRP.
You just have to let them know you're not a sucker.

The dealership is very straight forward. Thats the number they said was there bottom number. And it was more then I was expecting them to take off so I bought it. They also gave me good value on the Harley I traded in. I know your in florida but if you can save $2000-$3000 I would call them Its Cavalier Ford in Chesapeake, VA. You could at least use it as a base line to bargain with. Good Luck!!
Some people aren't reading the OPS post based on the replies I see. OUT THE DOOR PRICE meaing tax, title, license, etc etc etc.
OP find out what Out the door price means, they may be tacking on things you may not need like gap insurance (most insurance companies have this built into your insurance cost), paint protectant, extended warranty, special service package etc.
Get the line item for everything that ends up giving you that 30,100 you may find the price of the car is actually pretty low but they are making up for it in worthless add ons. If they are, dump the addons then see what the price is.

I really appreciate everyone's advice and opinions. This is the first time I've bought a car by myself and am truly stressed out by the whole thing. I'm gonna get it done but ford financing aren't exactly excited about giving me a loan. The type of job I have makes lenders worried as I am an independent distributor, so basically I'm self-employed and only have a years worth of tax returns. It's my dream to have a mustang gt so I'm gonna get it done one way or another. It looks like I'm gonna have to come up with a bigger down payment to get it done. I can't wait to post the pics once I get it, it will obviously be stock and everyone on here has seen tons of them by now but I'm just gonna be so stoked once I get it.
Don't use ford Financing unless you have to. They are typically higher than your average bank and will often change teh rate on you after they have you sign on teh dotted line.
Got to your bank first. HOpefully you've been with them for a couple years and they can see your history. Sometimes that has as much pull with them as your credit score.

About 4 weeks ago I bought my 13 GT/CS,auto,glass roof....for $36000 and it had a sticker price of $41000. I did all of my bidding and dealing through the internet so that I didnt have to play the game that the dealers play when it comes down to the price. If you go the internet way start at autotrader.com or cars.com and talk with the sales by internet ONLY until you get the point of closing. I was upfront by stating that I am looking for the lowest possible price, then start a chat with the ones that give a low price and leave the clowns alone that want to "deal" or "call me" and didnt understand the instructions that you put in the chat with them that said "your lowest possible price". If you still didnt get the low price you want check out the ford dealers in your bigger cities and in the states around you and send them the same message through email....the bigger dealers have "internet sales" and understand that you dont wish to play around with a price or the clowns (car salesmen) let them know what you are looking for and Im sure you'll connect with someone that gets you a great deal!
I bought a new GT/CS in 08 by using this method and saved $3500 off the sticker but I had to drive to another state to get it......it was worth it! I made it a goal of mine to pay the least possible for my mustang and got a weekend get away with my wife when I had to pick it up in another state.
WATCH OUT for what the dealers call a "DOC Fee" it is a fee they DO NOT TELL YOU ABOUT until closing. The research I did said the fee is for processing documents and is a TOTAL BS fee. The fee's can range anywhere from none up to $750. It is a way dealerships can say they will give you a great deal upfront then when you close the deal you will see the fee that they did not tell you about. The clowns that I talked to said this is a fee that all dealerships charge and is is nothing unusual!! Dont buy the DOC Fee BS!!
