Default 2013 GT cost

I'm going either tomorrow or Wednesday to work out the details and cost for a 2013 base gt in sterling gray. No add ons or specials, it's just a plain base gt. The salesman has told me he can get me out the door for $30,100. Is this a good price?

if you wait a couple months, ford will probably be giving 3,000 cash back like they did for the 2012's. i got mine for 29 out the door and its GT prem manual. but its all about location, get your quote from that dealer and then bring it to other dealers and see if they can do better. im sure there is a huge market for mustangs down in the sunny weather

MSRP is about 31k I believe.

Your not getting robbed I don't think but I also think if you shop around and compare you can get better. Especially if you tell them you are shopping around, find a better deal, then come back and ask them if they can do better than the competitor.

edmunds say true market value is around 29k for a completely base GT. Invoice is about 27k.

yeah 30,100 is the MSRP, it'll probably have that number on the sticker. OTD its a pretty good price. I got mine for 27 OTD and had to pay TTL in my state which brought me to about 29.5k.

And funny enough mine is also a 2013 sterling grey base as well

You'll love it, enjoy

FWIW, I paid just under 30k out-the-door (TTL included - no tax in Oregon though, but our licensing is expensive) with the $1500 incentive and $750 brochure bonus cash for a factory ordered 2013 GT 6MT (also in Sterling Grey) w/ Brembo Package and Recaros. I think you can do much better than the price you were quoted!

I can get one right now for 28k out the door (nothing additional). You are paying 2k too much for a base.

Well I also want stripes and tint, I'm gonna try to get him to throw that in for free or else I'm just gonna tell him I'm gonna go someplace else.

You might be able to get the stripe in for free but I don't know about the tint. I could be wrong and the dealer will give you exactly what you want if they know you are walking away. Good luck.
