Default ADVANCE TRACK SYSTEM????

GUYS,

SO I JUST FIGURED OUT HOW TO USE THE TRACTION CONTROL BUTTON FROM A VIDEO I SAW ON YOUTUBE. MY QUESTION IS, WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE DRIVING MODE. I KNOW I WILL NEVER DRIVE WITH THE TRACTION CONTROL ON, BUT WHAT DO YOU THINK IS BETTER? ADVANCE TRACK COMPLETELY OFF, OR DRIVING IN SPORT MODE. LUCKILY MY CAR USUALLY DOESN'T SEE WET ROADS, SO WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST?????

Leave it all on until you find yourself driving in a situation where the system is inhibiting your performance.

I consider myself a good driver, and have had traction control save me a few times in my old CTS-V.

It never hurt my 2006 - ran it for 203,000 miles with the Xcharger on it and left TCS on. Only turned it off when I was at the drag strip. Otherwise just left it on. Car is still running strong for the new owner.

I'm with siggyfreud on this one. Do you know if you have the Track Pack I on your car yet? I can do some pretty aggressive things in mine without the TC kicking in. You have to get pretty crazy before it takes over. For me, it gets completely turned off at the track, and always on driving on the street.

I drive with it full on in town.....sometimes sport.....for playing, always sport. Very little with it off on the street.

Find an empty parking lot and see the differences.....I doubt many "suddenly" come upon a situation were they need the difference in the settings that quick. Plus, on mine, I can make the changes while moving by just applying the brakes real lightly...and using the buttons.
