Default transmission issues

So i recently installed a new clutch and flywheel and the first week when putting the car in gear it went in like butter very smooth. Now its getting worse again not like before i replaced my clutch when i would have to use full force to put it into 1st but its not smooth anymore and i have to put a bit of muscle into it. Is this normal???

i have a hurst shifter and its a 2005 gt please let me know what you guys think

also the clutch installed is ram hd stage 1 with a ram billet flywheel (steel)

You could have easily damaged a synchro or a fork the way you described before swapping out the clutch.. It's never good to use full force to put it into gear.. Hard to diagnose without knowing your definition of smooth.. Does it shake out of gear, miss, grind, etc...

Where in Cali are you?

i MAY BE ABLE TO RECOMMEND A GOOD SHOP.

Not to downgrade your problem,

but your thread title is just itching for funny comments.

Did not think about the title until u mentioned that lol i am located in west la around Beverly center centry city the grove etc....

it doesn't grind or anything and i don't need to use full force.

Let me try to explain more SOMETIMES when i try to put it into first it feels like there is something blocking it and it only allows me to put it in half way. I then have to put it back into neutral and try again.

Does it resist first when it's cold outside or the car has been sitting overnight?

Try something and see how this goes... While in neutral at a stop blip the throttle without pressing the clutch, when the rpm jumps press the clutch and shift into first.. See if that's smoother or not.. And just to be sure, your not low on hyrdaulic fluid for the clutch? It's disengaging all the way when you press the pedal... Check to be sure if you haven't already..

its doesn't resist when its cold i was driving it for about 30-35 minutes yesterday when this happened.

I don't think any of the fluids are low when i was getting my clutch installed i had my mechanic check all the fluids and he said everything was good. when i go out i will try the throttle method and let you know how it goes thanks for the input.
