Default Come....join the Dark Side!!!! :)

Just something I wanted to share with my future Mustang family (and hopefully this will give some of you a chuckle).

Long story short. I'm a Mustang lover. Owned 2 in my life already (68' and a 91' GT Vert <---got me laid twice, but I digress)

I've been wanting a new Pony for a couple years. I went to my bank (credit union actually) and they asked how much I wanted to borrow. At the time I wasn't looking at one yet, but I said $20k. In two minutes I had my approval.

It feels good knowing I can go to a dealer with the ability to pull the trigger on the spot if I find the right deal.

So, I get a letter in the mail yesterday from my credit union telling me how much they've appreciated my business and do to my clean record they are increasing my request to $40k.

All I could think of was a beautiful red, w/racing stripes, Boss 302 racing down the I-90 freeway.......then a GT500 popped into my mind....

My brother called me shortly after this and I told him the news (he also is a Mustang lover) and his comment was...."don't these people know that is like giving a crack addict a pure baseball sized uncut rock of pure cocaine"?

I chuckled a bit and nodded in agreement. It's like Darth Vader telling me it's ok to come to the Dark Side......

I'll be back folks, someday, sooner than later hopefully.....with pictures!

The search begins...........

If you can snag a GT500 then go for it.. A Boss is awesome though if you're into handling and road racing.. Of course, you can get a new Boss for about 40, but you won't be able to get a new GT500 for 40.

LOL

Nice one Nick

As much as I drool and get chubby's over 302's and GT500's they are a bit out of my price range.

Going to look at 12' & 13' GT's

The BOSS motors have a reinforced rotating assembly (much of it forged), making them more adaptable to higher Revs and forced induction. It's not just an intake change.
