Angry 2013 GT, 400 miles, suspension problem?

Howdy,

I have a 2013 GT with the Brembos! Ever since the car had 50 miles on it, I can hear and feel a thump in the front end of the car when going over speed bumps or pulling in and out of declined parking lots. I can actually feel it through the floor boards when going over speed bumps in commercial lots. You can also hear it, sounds like an old bed(you know the one's that make that "sex" sound when you and the Mrs are having fun). Is this the suspension just breaking in? Should I get the car up 1000 miles before worrying? I hate taking brand new cars back to the dealership! :-(

Was hoping you'd say it's growing pains since the car is new! Oh God, a long day at the dealership for me on Wednesday! :-( What I hate is when they say, "We need to keep your car for a couple of days". Gosh Darnit!

my 2011 has started making a squeak. Suspension isnt stock though , i put on steeda sport springs and koni yellow dampers, it started about 3 months after these parts were installed. I hope it just needs a bit of lube. It seems to make the squeaks over speed bumps, and when putting on the brakes while going slow(aka transferring weight to the front of the car) along with some creaks when doing tight low speed turns.

Too me it sounds like a control arm bushing but there could be a lot things that cause a "clunk".. With your being new though, it's definitely not normal if you're feeling it that hard.

I had the dealer install the FRPP handling back before I even took delivery and it did pretty much this. But it was a loud bang. Got into a small accident after 2 weeks and had the dealers body shop repair it. They must have noticed the problem when they did an alignment or a test drive cause when I got it back the popping was gone.

I assumed it was the strut mounts doing it.

I am having the same front suspension problems as what your are talking about, I have a 2012 GT with 7000 miles. Took it in and had both lower control arms replaced and torsion bar bushings replaced, it was quite for a week or two then started making the banging sounds sometimes during braking or speed bumps or sudden increase in street levels. Could this been in the strut columns, castor and camber plates.

Speaking from my Honda experience it sounds like swaybar end-links. Ive heard them make all kinds of noises. Speed bumps and angle changes make a heck of a racket.

I have a new 2013 GT and there are absolutely no suspension sounds at all, so yeah you better get that looked at.
