Default Racing stripes

Hey guys i bought my mustang a couple months ago and its red with black stripes. The stripes go from the top of the trunk to the end of my hood, i think it would be a better look if they were from end to end instead of stoping where they are at now. But how would i go about doing that, just buy more stripes and add on to it? Or have a place take off the old ones and start over?

Thanks in advance

I got a race red with over the top matte black stripes from Ford last month. The problem with extending the stripes down is matching the material. I have been doing research and the closest stuff I can find is Avery HP700-180-O series calendar stripe material. Unfortunately calendar material is not the best stuff to use. Plus you need a pro to install it on the bumpers. I gave up on that idea and I am just going to get the GT rocker panel stripes put on using 3M 7125/7725 cast tape. If you got the bucks, you could buy like the hood stripe kit from Ford but that will cost over $300 just for the stripe material. You would then need to cut and apply.

I have a forest green mustang and I wanted matte black stripe, I think it looks better when it's from end to end, bumper to bumper, try eBay, pretty cheap but make sure they have warranty, then take it to a pro place to get them installed, shouldn't be that much, keep the receipt to show you had it done at a place instead of your garage, just my 2 cents
