If it makes you feel better...my fiance' and I used her SUV to tow a light utility trailer a few days ago. Afterward I unloaded and unhooked the trailer, I left the hitch on her car and never got to taking it off. She drove the car for three days and drives on the interstate to work. Tonight I was walking by it and reached down to take the hitch out...I reached for the pin and it wasn't there. I pulled the hitch right out of the receiver. I ask her if she had just taken the pin out and she says "No, I took it out the other day."
It's a miracle that thing didn't fall out at 70 mph on the interstate.
all I've ever done to bleed the clutch is jack up the front drivers side and pump the pedal slowly about a billion times. Leave the cap off the brake fluid reservoir so the air can get out.
My parents had their '12 vert at the dealership to have the tires rotated. Driving home someone pulled up next to my dad and said his tires was wobbling. He got out and checked the tire, it had one lug nut left on it and it was about to come off. The dealership towed the car back and detailed the car for free but oh man what a joke. It's always good to keep an eye on your wheels.
If your mechanic couldnt figure out a loose wheel, I would be shopping for a new one .
when i got there he said to comeback in an hour he didn't check for anything. as far as knowing the clutch needed to be bleed i explained the problem how my shifts are hard and he knew right away.
also yesterday my wheel was loose again so now im thinking some1 is after me i now check all 4 wheels before driving
Is it the same wheel that keeps coming loose? If so, driving around with the loose wheel might have messed up the holes on the wheel so that the lug nuts will no longer stay tight.
