Default Front Brake Issue..

Did a front brake job about a month ago, loud popping noise when I let off the brake with the wheel turned. Also, the driver side rotor has a strange "wear" pattern, as shown in the pics. Thinking the caliper is sticking, but really not sure whats going on.

The parts didn't get back in straight. I'm pretty sure what you are seeing is that the pad is only contacting part of the rotor.

Check your work. Make sure all the parts are there and any retaining springs are properly installed.

+1, the outer rotor is getting all of the contact. The inner rotor still has hatch marks (like when new out of the box).

Something didn't get put back in correctly.

A sticking caliper would give you a continuous metallic scraping sound at low speeds and your car would in some cases pull to that side as well.

took the brake pads out and reset the calipers, hopefully it did the trick ill check the wear on the rotor again in a few days.
