Default Parking Lights

Hi all! I have a 2005 V6 Mustang with aftermarket lights. Top lights are parking lights and brights, bottoms are regular lights.

With that said....I had to get a bunch of wires rewired because my lights weren't working. Bottom/regular lights are now working. Brights are working but parking lights are not.

I was told it was due to some wires touching metal and getting shorted out which therefore fried the circuit. I was told that it only affected the parking lights but, I wanted to make sure.

Does or can this circuit affect other parts of my car?

Thank you.

It affects anything in that circuit I believe. Car electrical stuff is very complicated and touchy sometimes. It sounds like you already tried to have it fixed, can they finish the job?! Obviously your car is not 100% if your parking lights are not working. But no matter what I would have it fixed so it doesn't damage anything
