Here's 35% on the driver and passenger door windows, 15% on the rear quarter windows and rear glass. The 15% you can't see through at all. Here in Michigan any amount of tint on the door windows is illegal. I went with darker on the back windows hoping that the difference in tint might help me to slide with getting pulled over because of it. I wouldn't want the 15% on my doors because it definitely reduces night vision - looking through the rear glass on my mirror is pretty much like looking at a dimmed mirror - it makes that big of a difference. I wouldn't want my visibility reduced out the door glass by that much.

Makes sense to me, especially when SUV's are rolling around with 15-20% on their rear windows from the factory.
The way things are, they are more likely to ask for the whole damn car to be transparent rather than repeal tint laws.

Went with 35% to keep mine legal. Personally I like the look of 20% better but this is fine by me

35's are not to dark you can see threw them clearly. i say you go with atleast 20's. But if you want a very aggressive look get limo tints. If u get a note from an eye doctor cops cant do ****

definitely go as dark as you can. I'd say you'd probably be pretty safe with 20% or maybe 15% if your pushing your luck. Cops don't typically pull people over if they suspect their tint is slightly darker than they think it should be, but they will add it on if your not showing respect

I personally went 5% all around with 20% on the windshield. with 15-20% you will be more than fine at night, especially if I can still see through mine

Thanks for all the input guys... I'm kind of leaning towards 30% right now. I like the 20 but i think the 30 will do the job, and may also keep the bad good guys away...lol...

Jhonson, i actually just started working for safelite autoglass, and i know we get some glass that is tinted like when u get it from factory. Its diesnt look like regular tint ilm. I ws going to try to get all new back glass and quarter glass pretinted, but they dont mak i for our cars.. Im thinking the tints could e in the middle of the glass like a laminate... Piece of pladtic between to two glass like your windshield...im gonna adk someone at work tommorrow.

15% on my car is dark all around, and a little difficult to see out of at night. I don't drive my car daily so I don't mind. But my daily driver (Focus) has 15% on the rear, and 35% on the front. You can very easily see inside the 35% even with the Focus having a black interior.
