I love the new Vettes and imagine I'll get one some day, but I'm just not ready to be a Vette guy yet, so I'm probably the wrong one to ask.

Personally I'd go for the GT500.

Ask me in 10 years, I may have a different answer.

I'm a fan boy, so I won't be buying anything besides a Mustang (for a sporty type car anyways) until they remake the Ford GT. You hear me Ford? Bring back the GT! But seriously...if you can't wait until then, keep the Corvette.

I love the Vette and the GT500, and I agree with the majority of the folks here that suggested you keep the Vette... However, I'm a realist and sometimes the GT500 makes more sense for the person... Some reasons I think the GT500 would be better to own are that it is hands down easier to get in and out of. I have sat and driven my brother-in-laws Z06 (C5 gen) and it made me realize my fat **** needed to get on a treadmill. Also, the extra cargo room of the GT500's back seats could be a welcome change to a Vette owner. Lastly, sometimes the styling of the GT500 is just more carnal compared to the more refined look of the Vette. Both are dead sexy, but the GT500 looks like an angry sexy.... Know what I mean?

Good luck.

Could always pick up an SRT Viper

THAT is my "Z06/GT500" dilemma
