Default trade trunks?

Hey, guys - I guess this is my first real thread... I would like my car better if it didn't have the spoiler. I took it off, but didn't know that to do about the 4 holes, so I put it back on. (maybe) thinking about trading trunks w/ someone who doesn't have the spoiler w/ someone who wants one? Obviously the same color - silver. What do you guys think? (oh, it's an '08)

Had mine welded up after my accident, not sure what a shop would charge to fill the holes and repaint, but if going that route find a spare trunk lid and leave them yours. My spoiler was damaged, so instead of insurance paying for a new one, they filled the holes and i got a credit. Ended up not having to pay my deductible.

I think you'd have better odds winning the lottery, than to find someone to trade trunk lids.

Weld the holes and paint. That's what I did. Others have painted/flattened/sanded plugs to make it appear like there are no holes. Look it up on youtube.

Good luck!

Mine was special-ordered w/ the rear spoiler delete.

Yep. I've been barking up that tree for 5 years. Even offered my GT front end as part of the deal and no one bit.
