I've been out of town for a few days, and haven't heard from the dealer about the PCM coming in, so i'm crossing my fingers when I give em a call tomorrow. I'll post how it all turns out.

Mike65, the first/last car was a 65 Stang? Damn, that's pretty cool!! I've had almost too many p.o.s. cars to try to mention.

Hope you still have the '65!

ORIGINAL: Mike65

When I run the defroster on the cold setting it turns the ac on and the outside of my windshield frosts over. I'm thinking about talking to my dealer about this. Anyone else's 05-06 stang do this?

My problem that I was having with my 05 when you put the air on just the foot control air would bleed out the defrost and fog the windows up. I carried mine in several times and Ford acknowledged there was a common problem but said there was no fix yet .That's been several months ago not that big of a deal so I have not pushed the issue not sure if it is the same problem.

I had the same problem. Filled the tank up to full and after about 50 miles the needle dropped to empty and the light came on. Parked the car, turned it on and off twice and the neddle came back to the correct level. One of the many probs I have had with my 2005 V6 manual.

My only mild problem is that the trunk doesn't pop up when you press the button on the remote. It unlocks, but does not pop up. Otherwise it's great!

Bought my wife an 06 Black on Black GT manual trans and so far have only two complaints

1. The Shaker skips with certain cd's as reported by many other owners.

2. The passenger airbag light keeps going on & off. Anyone else have this problem?

I still love the car it's a blast to drive when I get the chance.

The only problems I have had with my 06 is the Shaker 1000 skipping CDs and that my carpet was cut too short on the left front side.

Is the airbag light going out when you have something on the seat that weighs less than 80 lbs? The airbag is disabled when there is something on the passenger seat that is less than 80 lbs so that your airbag doesn't deploy when you've only got a briefcase or sack of groceries (or whatever) on it.

In regards to the foot air control. Even with the air to the feet only the defroster will have air coming out. I can't remember the exact percentages but it is part of its normal operation.
