Exclamation Speed Limiter

Today I was driving on the highway and I noticed that my car would not go pas t 220 KM/H as if something was stopping it the engine growl sort of become quieter after I reached 220 KM/H

Is that the automatic speed limiter on the Mustang or can my car relaly not do more than 220 KM/H?

That's pretty sad

Speed limiter.
Can be adjusted with a tune.

Don't do it unless you replace your V6's drive-shaft with a sturdier one. I'm not kidding. They can blow up at those speeds.

220 KM/hr equates to approximately 136 MPH

You find that sad on a highway setting?

It would void the warranty on the driveshaft from Ford, yes.

It links your transmission (the thing that does the shifting of gears in the car) to the wheels

That's sad that a stick Mustang 2013 can't do more than 2013

My previous 2003 Holden Monaro GTS V8 used to do 340 Km/h stock (after unlocking the ECU) without doing anything to the drive shaft

why would ford put parts that can't handle the cars when pushed to the limit?

Furthermore....does the V8 have the same story or does it have an upgraded drive shaft to do more than 220 KM/H without any modifications? or do they share the same parts?

It is sad compared to my previous 2003 Holden Monaro GTS stock. Only unlocked the speed limiter via an ECU tune
