I got a sheet that gives my trade in/value, the car I ordered, the price agreed to. If they try to pull something, I'll walk out. No big deal. They don't get many special orders, someone ordered their GT 5 days before mine and it is scheduled for build on Oct 10th. They expect the similiar with mine.

 

Getting build date 3 weeks after ordering, thats sounds about right for a Texas based dealers order. Now place that same order in NY/NJ/PA, perpare for a long wait.

 

Yah, it's not a small dealer, but it's not volume at all. They said they don't get many orders, and my order is going in today so we'll see!

Why wait a few weeks to see if yea getting screwed???
Go and ask the dealer for a DORA it will have your Order Number Dealer Number and all that good stuff on it and you can check it on Fords 800# to see how its going.

Get my money back? I didn't give em any to begin with. They showed me the DORA, I'll go pick it up tomorrow, but they gave me another form with what I was getting, price, etc and what they would give me for my trade in, in 3 months or so.

 

I would just pickup my DORA and I am very glad you didnot put anything down.
Just check out the fords 800# for the next month or so and you will see where yea at...
Most on the Northeast for some reason are still at C/U...

JohnnyT's right. Its been a long wait for Northeasterners. Most C/U since June or before!

But your in Texas right? GT Orders from that area seem to pushed through to Ford a whole lot faster.
I'd do like he said and get the DORA, your order number, and the dealer code. Then check the orders progress through the 1-800 # for about a month or so.
