Just an update. Ordered Sept 29th, according to FRL build date is Oct. 24th! And yes, got my DORA

I have tried many times to get an 05 mustang at a lot with the x-plan but every dealer told me they couldnt do the x-plan. After that I ordered my 06 gt near the end of october, will it be possible for me to use my x-plan when mine comes in and how long normally till it will be here, the dealer has kept me in the dark about everything, thanks

Unless they specifically said "okay" on the X-plan, then no.

If you failed to tell them about the X-plan when ordering, then no. Both of these are in the clauses on the rules at the X-plan site.

If they kept you in the dark, tell them you got someone else to sell you one at X-plan somewhere else and that you'd prefer to do business with them. Likely, they will give in.

If they refuse, or BS you, leave.

I had to call 5-10 dealers before I got one that agreed on X-plan outright.

If you ordered in October, they should have given you a DORA. On this, gives the dealer and order number, you can use this to figure out when your car is being built. Generally, the week after the build week is the delivery week.

 

If yea don't have a Dora and salesperson does not want to give yea one,that means you would have not have gotten the car anyway at X-Plan......It needs to Say X-Plan on your order form when you ordered the car..Its very hard finding a dealer that will take X-Plan.....
theres a Dealer called Capital Ford they have many Gts in stock but the salesmanager says he will sell you one at MSRP but he will order yea one at X-Plan..........I think you will never see the car if ordered from Capital on X-Plan,,,Think its a game to the dealers...JohnnyT
