Default CAI and Tune = Yes!

Just got my CAI and custom tune installed from American Muscle. If anyone's on the fence...is an AWESOME addition. Throttle response and overall performance feels night and day. I know there's a few options, I went with American Muscle and their Bama tuner. Had a bit of a delay in getting the custom tune setup prior to it being sent out (I imagine they where swamped as well with the holidays), but they took care of this and bumped up the shipping to ensure delivery prior to Christmas. Highly recommend, great product, great service.

Folks don't exaggerate (well, they do), the CAI/tune combo (and American Muscle) is amazing. Put a smile on my face immediately too. Congrats and enjoy the hell out of it!

I did a poll awhile back. About 70-75% of the forum members are running non-OE tunes. That in and of itself speaks volumes.

I remember when I got mine, and it really makes a nice difference in the car. What puzzles me is that the car isn't tuned this way from the factory. Maybe it's so the after market can make some cash. I've driven other cars that have much better feel than a Mustang with a stock tune. Now I have the ProCharger which is another step up all together. Congrats on the purchase. Enjoy!

Actually, Ford DID offer a hotter tune in the '08 Bullitt model and then in all of the '10 GT's for that additional 15 (yawn) crank HP. I believe they also did it in the 5.0 for 2013.

Oh, on that notion...when getting replacement gears, is it best to have Bama provide new tunes with the new gearing, or have them use third party hardware for the gearing for the speedo change?

Just simply choose your gear ratio on the tuner and upload.
