That steel is so freakin hard that u dont need to break them in. Just be careful first few miles & listen for any issues with install. Then WOT all ya want.
This has been discussed often and when I changed my gears I asked the fellas that installed them and he said that after they take the car out to test drive and then give the car back to the customer it's good to go. When I got my car I played. No heat treat cycles or 500 mile warm up. I'm not sure it's any different than when u buy a new car with 50 miles on it and start romping on it

Heat cycles are not needed with these gears. The gears are annealed at temps that far exceed any that can be produced in normal driving conditions.
Changing the fluid is far more important to remove any shaving.
