Drive the car as you normally would. People may recommend 2 heat cycles but just take it easy for a few hundred miles to be safe and you'll be golden.

That steel is so freakin hard that u dont need to break them in. Just be careful first few miles & listen for any issues with install. Then WOT all ya want.

A couple of heat cyles. IE Drive the car so the gears get warmed up, let it cool, do it again and your done. Change the gear oil after 500 miles.

Just had my 4.10's done. 3 Heat cycles, easy on it for first 100 miles. Then steadily enoy as time progresses.

This has been discussed often and when I changed my gears I asked the fellas that installed them and he said that after they take the car out to test drive and then give the car back to the customer it's good to go. When I got my car I played. No heat treat cycles or 500 mile warm up. I'm not sure it's any different than when u buy a new car with 50 miles on it and start romping on it

Combo answer....spot on!
Heat cycles are not needed with these gears. The gears are annealed at temps that far exceed any that can be produced in normal driving conditions.
Changing the fluid is far more important to remove any shaving.

Awesome that's for the advice. My drive home from the shop will be a 40 mile drive on the freeway doing 80. Can't wait to feel the difference.
