Since oil is lighter than water, the water helps push the oil through the motor, lubricating it more, and hopefully pushing whatever gunk you have in your oil pan out.
Dear God that thread was golden. And this is what happens when you purchase an "Exotic" MUSTANG, laugh.

I have a lowly 2004 GT (super peasant model). But luckily I can do my maintenance, and the things I cannot do I have a buddy who owns a wire stretcher. A little stretched wire can fix damn near anything.

I was kinda hoping for an "exclusive, exotic" 3500lb paperweight. Oh well. Kidding, sorry for the flaming. Hope all it is is a damaged belt.

Good loard!!! I woke up this morning and saw this thread. Laughed so hard I pissed in my Depends!!!
BLKsaleen, you have to take your Exclusive Stang to an authorized Exclusive Car Repair Shop FI (for idiots) Only than can you be assured that the repairs will be done correctly. I wouldn't ask anyone on this forum as most of us only own "average" Mustangs and have no knowledge of "exotic" Mustangs.
I want you to have a really good day, thinking about what might go wrong next, and hoping you can get help!!! You need it!!!

sense.... this post makes none...... a belt will not cause a metal on metal grinding noise.

I'll take pity for a moment here, how is the belt damaged? Will the car start now?
