So, I have been kind of bored lately and decided to look into upgrading my current set up to MyColor. (mainly want the info center readout)

I know I need the 'Information/reset,Etc' button and my car already has the harness installed but does it matter which 6-gauge cluster I upgrade to? (ie- GT or V6) reason I ask is because I noticed my stock 4-gauge cluster and upgraded V6 6-gauge cluster both have the redline at 5,750 RPM, while the GT 6-gauge cluster redlines at 6,000.

not too worried about the mileage readout being off as I can get that reprogrammed later.

-BUT- Here's the kicker...

I have a nice little 4.6 motor and tr3650 sitting in my garage waiting for me to do the swap one I get some free time and gather up some extra little pieces I need

so, can you guys advise me on which one to get...?

i got the 6 guage cluster and the three button piece when I did the MyColor upgrade in my 6, but i kept the same 6 guage v6 guages instead of going to the v8 guages. At the time i did not know if my car would be compatable with the v8 guages as the redline is increased and the speedo goes to 140. I would assume that if you have a 4.6 waiting to go in I would get the v8 guages and if they do not work right now, just install them when you put in the v8. just my 2 cents
