White 5.0 wheel color opinions and pics
Hey everyone,
Im new to the forum and currently in the process of selling my Evo8 for a 2013 5.0. Dont get me wrong i love the Evo definitely one of the most fun cars to drive, but its time i move back to a V8! Anyways i was wondering if you guys could give me some opinions on what rims i should get specifying color and size i should get for a 2013 white 5.0. Im also going for function so if yall can give me some ideas on the offsets and rim widths that wont harm my handling. Im leaning towards black SVE drifts, but it kinds seems like everyone has them. If you could include pics that would be great!
(Also for you guys with staggered set ups, Do you notice a loss in handling?)
Thanks Guys

If you have the money, look into Forgestar or True Forged wheels. Lightweight and they look fantastic!

I would go with 20x10.5's on the rear with 295's or 305's
20x9.5 or 19x9.5 on the front with 265-275's
9 inch wide in the front is also fine with 255's.
27.7- or ~28 inch tire will fill the wheel well
not my car but looks good - may be hard to keep clean though

Wow gotta say that white on white looks really good, but just don't know if I want another white on white car lol. This is what I have now and the rims do get dirty super quick!

yeah, white wheels are a nightmare to keep clean. all wheels get dirty quickly, it's all about how well it hides it. my previous wheels had a polished lip and looked dirty all the time .. hence the change to gunmetal. here's a couple of photos - in the appearance section, there's also a white mustang thread you can browse through.
these were 20x9 and 20x10, silver face, black innards, polished barrel.
current wheels are 19x9 and 19x10, gunmetal.
I am also lowered about two inches - you're in for a world of wheel gap otherwise : ). my previous car was AWD too, I think you'll have more fun with this. AWD is too predictable, and I can't fathom you actually need it very frequently in texas!

mine came with 19s. when I was on 20s, I had lower sidewall tires to help keep it near 27" O/D and I really didn't feel like the ride was much worse. you could feel the bumps a bit more but it was nothing drastic.
I didn't notice any performance loss when I went up to 20s. I think unless you are seriously racing your car and tracking the tenths of a second, you probably won't be able to feel a difference from a few pounds gained per corner. so long as you make sure you get the right tires and widths, you'll be happy.
I can say on a previous car, I went from 30lb wheels to 18lb wheels, and I felt the performance increase in that, but that was a drastic difference.
